Congratulations to Dr. Alexis Beltrano on completing your PhD this spring, and all your tremendous work with the Nunavut Research Institute and research license review organizations across Nunavut!

Alexis’ research contributes to the Making Research Work for Nunavummiut project. Her dissertation is titled “Making Research Work for Nunavummiut: Understanding Community Experiences with Research License Review across Nunavut” and it can be downloaded on the Publications or project page.

Also big congratulations and best wishes as you welcome your first child in August, and then move straight into your SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellowship in Fall 2027 in the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies at Carleton University. We look forward to continued collaborations Alexis!!
