Regena Sinclair joined the SUN Team as a Research Assistant this summer working on our project to understand Inuit community uses and needs for weather, water, ice and climate information and services. She brings extensive geomatics experience and has worked with First Nations communities in British Columbia on a range of treaty, lands, archaeology, and language revitalization projects. She is now exploring research directions that related to her interest in Indigenous conservation initiatives.
Kraig Matthews joined the SUN Team as new MA student in September 2020. He has worked at Grundy Lake Provincial Park for the past four years, and is interested in pursuing research to better understand current and past relations between provincial parks and First Nation communities in central Ontario.
We’re excited to have both Regena and Kraig as part of the SUN team!
